Description:  A candid examination of Joseph Smith's claims to have translated ancient Egyptian writings, made in the light of the best knowledge of the present day.  Numerous hieroglyphic images included.  Mr. Homans was not a member of the LDS Church, but argued vigorously in favor of the Church.  He also published articles in issues of Improvement Era and authored two books on Mormonism (besides the present volume):  The Real Mormonism, and The Case Against Mormonism.

Binding:  Dark blue leatherette with with gold printing on front cover.

Book Condition:  VG -. Tight, in excellent condition, except for yellowing of pages due to age.  No underlining or notes observed in text.  Prior owner's small pasted tag inside front flyleaf and his signature.  Very nice copy.
